Forward scan technology
Forward scan offers forward -oriented, two -dimensional sonar images of the bottom before your boat. In shallow, unknown or poorly mapped waters, Forward scan is an indispensable tool for locating safe anchorages. The Forward Scan Transducer works at 180KHz so that the interference with traditional 200KHz echo sounders is reduced: maximum in advance of 8x your current depth; For example at a depth of 3 m (10 ft) you will see up to 24 m (80 ft) far. Integration

Display price line
Course line display integrates Forward Scan Deep data with the price line on the navigation page of your B&G MFD. The forward range of Forward scan is automatically synchronized with the length of the price line: in the split screen Forward Scan/Navigation view the full distance of your ship until the end of the price line is displayed in 2D on the Forward Display. Quickly tune in with the depth and your current course, so that you get a good idea of what is happening for you.
Simple installation
Forward scan can be installed on almost every ship, with a stainless steel support for the hull of 50.8 mm (2 "). The support is suitable for 25.4 mm (1 ") Thick Rolls at 12 ° Deadrise, or 19 mm (3/4") Rollpen at 20 °. An optional preliminary installation kit only contains a sleeve and closing plug, so that boat builders can offer forward scan as an upgrade option. A forward scan transducer can then be added by the dealer or the customer even after the boat has been launched.
